My Vision

Following Jesus is the only way to live a life that has meaning and purpose.

Current Roles

Charles has been part of the base leadership team for almost a year now. He is also co-leading the upcoming BCC this February. He began teaching in DTS classes this year. He is also part of the maintenance team and worship team of the base.

We are also co-leading the support staff (Support staff are those who graduated from DTS and came back to be a staff or a new member of the Davao base). The support staff serve the training schools, host outreach teams, go out for weekly outreaches and others.

I (laila) am one of the outreach coordinators of the base which we plan everything when an outreach comes. I am also part of the administration team. We live on base with our three kids. This makes us more involve with whatever is going in the base which we enjoy.

Something about us,

We became Christians when we were both still single and active in different ministries.

When we got married, we were both full-time in ministry working with children.
When we had children, we started working in an orphanage full-time.
We were greatly involved with the children’s lives there for 6 years until we went to do our DTS.

Currently, it is our third year with the YWAM Davao base.
